Students in Aviation Foundation Expands Opportunities for Future Pilots

The nonprofit Students in Aviation (SIA) is helping inspire the next generation of aviators by bringing flight training into classrooms across the U.S. Through donated flight simulators and educational programs, the organization gives students hands-on experience and early exposure to aviation careers.

SIA has already trained hundreds of students, donated dozens of simulators, and provided over $100,000 in scholarships and support.

The program focuses on STEM learning, helping students build skills like problem-solving and teamwork while exploring careers such as piloting, air traffic control, and aerospace engineering.

By partnering with schools and hosting events like career fairs and workshops, SIA aims to reduce financial barriers and make aviation more accessible.

With demand for aviation professionals rising nationwide, organizations like Students in Aviation are playing a key role in preparing future pilots and industry leaders.

We want to extend our sincere appreciation to Students in Aviation for its generous investment in our students at Finley. Through the donation of a flight simulator for our Flight and Space class, the organization will provide valuable hands-on learning opportunities and an enhanced educational program.
